Kanye West Channels 2Pac & John Wick in Shocking Fashion Rivalry Threat: 'Be Afraid!

Kanye West Channels 2Pac & John Wick in Shocking Fashion Rivalry Threat: 'Be Afraid!

Kanye West has once more launched an attack on his fashion competitors, drawing inspiration from his fellow Gemini 2Pac and the fictional action hero John Wick.

In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, Ye revealed on Tuesday (January 21) his plans to launch a women's line of Yeezy clothing and cautioned his competitors to be wary.

"Anyone in the clothing industry not affiliated with Yeezy should be very afraid. I won't allow corporations to exploit my platform to reach us, overprice their products for our community, and disregard my vision and guidance," he wrote alongside an image of a revealing corset bodysuit.

Kanye then criticized his former business partner Adidas: “They stopped producing foam runners and Yeezy slides during Covid, only to copy the designs. Some people encouraged me to go back to Adidas. Of course, these were people close enough to ask me for money. They didn't care about my freedom or vision.

“My vision is now becoming a reality, and I have a John Wick-style vendetta against every fashion company, as my fellow Gemini Tupac once said, 'Die motherfucker Die.' Now, play 'Off the Grid,'” he added, referring to his intense Donda track.

This is Yeezy's most recent tirade against the fashion industry after the collapse of his previously profitable partnership with adidas due to his antisemitic comments.

At the beginning of the new year, the Chicago native initiated a social media assault on the German sportswear giant and Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo.

He posted on Instagram: “When you search for Yeezy.com on Google, the adidas site appears before the Yeezy site. Members at adidas, stop doing this. Stop your actions to hold me back. Our partnership is over. You're a 60 billion dollar company that froze my accounts. Now I've recovered (no pun intended) and I won't tolerate this (no pun again).

“I delivered outstanding work for you all, and when I defended myself, you attempted to intimidate and oppress me. Everyone recalls that I had significant issues with Adidas due to design theft and oppression before ‘the tweet.’”

Kanye then criticized Lorenzo, his collaborator until 2016: “Everyone knows Jerry was uncool and unfaithful for collaborating with adidas after how they managed things I still attended his show, which was a replica of my Hollywood bowl show trying to be the so-called bigger person, but I won’t do that again for anyone.”

In a subsequent post, the G.O.O.D. Music founder demonstrated he was thriving without adidas by showcasing the substantial profits from his latest Yeezy clothing and sneaker collection.

Accompanying a screenshot that displayed over $2.3 million in sales within 24 hours, Ye declared himself “THE GOAT OF ALL GOATS” and stated: “If you design and aren’t employed at Yeezy, shut your filthy laptop and go to sleep.”
